Fire Engine at School

We've been learning about community helpers & fire safety at preschool this week. Today the fire department came by for a visit. The kids had fun checking out the fire engine!

While I was at work, Jacob came up and got my car (without telling me), got the oil changed, filled it with gas & got me flowers! He was going to wash it too, but he ran out of time! Isn't that sweet! Then he got some colored sand for the kids' sandbox. They've been having lots of fun (and making a big mess!) playing in it this afternoon!

This afternoon we went to one of my favorite parks. We took a walk around the pond, then went to the playground. Sarah thought it was fun that she got to walk part of the way, and Adam loved the little exercise stations around the path. He also had fun teaching Sarah how to make sounds like the ducks!

Valentine's day!

We celebrated Valentine's day at school today. Isn't that one of the most fun things about being a kid (or a preschool teacher in my case!)...a whole day where your friends give you cards and candy, and there are usually some type of crafts involved! That's my kind of day! :) Here's Adam with some of his treats!

Happy News!

Our friends Chris & Courtney welcomed their first baby boy, Elliott this week! We are so excited for them and their families. We can't wait to meet him! Congratulations Mullaney family! :)

Sad News

We received devastating news this week, that my 18 year old cousin Chris was killed in a motorcycle accident. He was a wonderful young man & he really lived life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed. Please pray for our family during this sad time, especially his parents and siblings. Thank you.
