First Day of Homeschool!

Here is my cute little kindergartener!
Sarah will be doing some pre-school work this year!
We are excited about our school year! We will be homeschooling three days a week. Adam will be going to a homeschool enrichment program two days a week, and Sarah will go to Mother's Day Out there once a week! I think this is going to be a great combination for us. You can read more about our first day and keep up with our fun school activities on my other blog! I'll take more pictures tomorrow on our first day of school- part 2!

Sarah Turns 3

I'm finally getting around to writing about Sarah's 3rd birthday. It was last Sunday. We enjoyed a family day at home- in our new house! (I still need to take pictures of the house!) We had brownines and ice cream and of course sang Happy Birthday!

She painted with her new bathtub paints. She loves to paint and I'm thinking those were the best idea ever! So easy to clean up!
Then she modeled her dress-up clothes in front of her new talking princess mirror! When she pushes the button it tells her she's a pretty as a princess!
We had fun celebrating her special day! She brings so much joy and happiness to our lives. We love you Sarah!

Providence Village

We are so excited to be buying a house in Providence Village, TX! It's the most adorable community. It has a neat recreation center with a pool, water park, work out facility & a lot more. They have classes the kids can take and lots of family activities through the year. I think it's going to be a really neat place to raise our family. I'll have more pictures soon! We've been so busy getting everything ready & trying to get packed! (not quite finished with that, hopefully soon!) We are supposed to move this weekend or early next week but then we'll be without internet for a week or so. I'll keep you posted & share pics as soon as I can! Please pray that things will go smoothly as we finalize everything! Thanks!

Sarah's Berry Sweet Party

I can't believe that my sweet little Sarah is turning three years old in a few weeks! She seems older and more grown up, but wow, three years have flown by! We had a little get together with a few friends to celebrate her birthday before we move. We will have a family party closer to her real birthday.
Jenn made the cutest Strawberry Shortcake cake for her! My mom actually kept this cake pan from when I was a little girl having a Strawberry Shortcake party!

Happy- Almost- Birthday to my beautiful sweet girl!

Divine Design

The Women's Ministry from the Met church does the most awesome events! This summer's event was a Fashion Show & Luncheon. It was so much fun! Here are the ladies from our table...Jara, Janice, Steph, Penny, Misty, Tracey, Jenn & Me.

Are you wondering why I'm wearing so much make up? Well, that's because I'm a model. Just kidding, but I was a model in the fashion show! I got to model some maternity clothes! I sported a nautical look with Sperry "boat shoes" "perfect for the mom-to-be, on the go!" The pics are kind of blurry but you get the idea!
My beatiful friend Jara was a model too! It was a really fun day!

Baby Shower for Steph

This weekend we hosted a baby shower for one of my best friends Stephanie. She had her precious baby boy Corbin a few weeks early, so he got to attend the shower too! Instead of cake we had Sundaes on Sunday! (Misty's cute idea! See the toppings in baby bottles!)

We had so much fun making decorations. My mom helped make them but then she was out of town & had to miss the shower. Everything turned out so cute!Sweet little Kinsley holding our mini-guest of honor! He's sooo sweet!!

My girls! I love these ladies & am SO thankful God brought them into my life! I am so blessed, they are the best! Misty, Steph (looking amazing after just having a baby!), Me & Jara!

Baby Update!

Things are moving along with my pregnancy. I can't believe I'm already at 23 weeks. This pregnancy is flying by! I've been feeling really well and having more energy lately which has been nice! Everything looked great at the ultrasound. Since we like to be surprised, we didn't find out the gender. Most of us are guessing it's going to be a boy! Sarah & Grandma are still holding out for a girl! We will see! Here's the picture from the ultrasound. I love the little profile! :)
