candlelight christmas eve service. food and fun with family. baby santa. fire in fireplace. presents under the tree. kids sleeping until 8. watching the excitement in their little faces as they unwrapped their gifts. cozy new robe and slippers. yummy brunch. homemade cinnamon rolls. chase's first christmas. opening and playing with new toys. staying in pj's all day. napping. movie watching. game playing. kids cooperating for pictures. baby snuggles. family time. celebrating the birth of our savior. what a wonderful christmas day.

We also love to go to the Gaylord Hotel every year with Becky, Kasey & Baylee. We always have fun looking at all of the beautiful decorations and takings lots of pictures! Here are a few of my favorites...

Cookie Baking Day!

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is baking cookies with my mom. Well the offical tradition is that Jenn is with us too but this year we had a hard time getting everyone together. Luckily we had two cute little helpers! We all enjoyed our day together and our yummy cookies!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas...

We've been having fun getting ready for Christmas this year! I have such wonderful memories of Christmas traditions from my childhood. I love creating these precious memories with my kids!

Here are some things we've done so far!

We decorated our house and our tree...

Decorated a gingerbread house (and then demolished & ate it!)

Had a Starbucks/Shopping date!

Visited with Santa!

Wrote and mailed letters to Santa!

And have enjoyed lots of cozy days at home watching Christmas movies by the fire, drinking hot chocolate and just hanging out together!

I LOVE this time of year!

Ballet Class

Sarah has enjoyed taking ballet class at her preschool this year. She loves to dance, twirl and wear a tutu so this has been perfect for her! Last week the parents were invited to stay and see what the kids have been learning. It was so cute to see the little ballerinas! Sarah did a great job!

Princess Party

My mom & I had so much fun taking Sarah to a Princess Party last weekend! We needed a girls day! They fixed her hair, put some sparkly make-up on her, and painted her nails. (so cute!) She got to meet a real princess and prince!

We had "princess pizza & cupcakes" for lunch! (shhh...don't tell Chase he went to a girl party!)

I love doing girly things and I'm so thankful to have my sweet girl to do them with! She is so much fun! I love our girl time and I think she does too! I hope that never changes!

One Month!

Chase is one month old! What a wonderful, busy first month we've had with him! Highlights & stats of month one~
~ Meeting lots of friends and family
~ Spent lots of time with Grandma and got to meet Grams and Mamaw
~ Celebrating his first Thanksgiving
~ Enjoying cozy days at home with the family
~ Weight 8 pounds, Length 21"
~ Already outgrowing some newborn size clothes
~ Sleeping about 3 hours between feedings at night
~ Starting to lift head and look around
~ Having more awake time during the day, really checking things out!
~ Went to church for the first time
~ He is so sweet! We love him so much!
