Sarah wanted to have a Fancy Nancy party for her birthday. Fancy Nancy has a series of children's books that are so fun! She likes all things fancy and teaches the kids fancy vocabulary words. Sarah loves the books and of course, being fancy! We had so much fun planning and decorating for the party. My mom and Mamaw helped a ton. We just did a family party and a little tea party for Sarah and three of her friends. The girls were so cute drinking real tea with sugar cubes! We had fancy food, cupcakes and make your own "parfaits." Here are some pictures from our fancy day!
My sweet girl turned four last week. She is so precious! She has a ton of energy and a LOT to talk about! Her laugh and smiles are contagious. She makes me laugh every single day. She is just fun to be around. She is super girly. She likes to dress up, have her nails painted, pretend to put on make up (well she'd love to really put on make up but for now she has to pretend!). She plays with baby dolls (her favorite being her little brother!) and Barbies. As girly as she is, she is happy to put on her tennis shoes and help daddy mow the lawn or wash the car. She loves to help people. She already has a heart for serving and I pray that she always will. She is so thoughtful. If she wants a glass of water, she always fixes one for everyone else in the family and brings it to us. If she's having a snack, she gets one for Adam or shares hers with him. I love that about her. Of course they don't always share things so nicely! They have their moments but for the most part her brothers are her best buddies! We just love our sweet girl! Happy 4th Birthday!
Awwww! When I saw Chase sleeping with his fuzzy blue blanket it totally reminded me of this picture from when he was just a few weeks old. I just had to take a picture so I could compare. Wasn't he so sweet? Oh my goodness! But now, look at those cheeks. He's still total sweetness!
My sweet blue-eyed boy is 9 Months old! This was a huge milestone month! He switched from the army crawl to crawling on his hands and knees. He's fast and he can get to where he wants to go! He's pulling up on everything. Most mornings we find him standing up in his bed calling for "da da." (cutie pie!) He tries to put himself in his little swing and he has climbed all the way in our toy basket. He is loving all of the new foods he is trying. He's eating little bits of fruits and veggies, bread, cereal. Goldfish crackers seem to be his favorite. He's still as sweet and laid back as always. He's happy, friendly and social. He doesn't like to sit still unless he has something to play with or is being read to. It's fun to watch all of the new things he is doing but it makes me sad at how quickly the time goes. He's just precious and we are so thankful for our sweet boy!
