Pre-School Graduation

My sweet little guy graduated from pre-school this week! I'm so proud of him and excited for him. I'm sad too- sad that his baby, toddler, and pre-school years are over, sad that the time is going by so fast! Everyone tells you how fast it's going to go but you don't really realize it until it's happening!

Adam had lots of guests at graduation. Mommy & Daddy of course...
Papa & Grandma

Mawmaw
His awesome teachers Ms.Pam & Ms.Sandra

It was a fun day! We love you Adam! Happy Graduation!

Congratulations Cody!

My brother-in-law Cody graduated from college this weekend. We are so proud of him and excited for him! He & Jenn had a fun party today to celebrate. They made a ton of yummy food. We hung out in the backyard all afternoon.
The kids had a fun day together. Sarah was there too but didn't get in any pictures. She played in the sand box & kept talking Cody in to getting her more cake!
Jenn made this cute graduate cake! My mom made one like this for each of us when we graduated! So cute!

Congratulations Cody!

Splash Park

We found a fun new park that has a playground & a splash pad! My kids love it! The first time they just wore their clothes. We went back today & they wore their swim suits. Sarah was walking around the house saying "I love my soup! I love my swim soup!" :) Too funny! We'll be saying that all summer!

Mother's Day Dinner

My sister & I hosted a Mother's Day Dinner this week for some of our favorite moms (moms, mother-in-laws, aunts, etc!). We had a great time visiting with everyone, eating dinner & making a craft! The craft was a recipe holder then we each shared a family recipe! It's always fun to have girl time!

Happy Birthday!

My sweet little guy turned FIVE this week! He is so precious! We had fun celebrating him all day! He wanted to start his day with breakfast in bed while watching a movie! Later we went to a really fun park. I was sad that I forgot my camera!
That evening we had dinner at the Magic Time Machine! It was SO much fun! The kids loved looking at all of the different themed booths- a jack-o-lantern, tiki hut, box of crayons, so cute! They also loved all of the waiters dressed as their favorite characters. Our waitress was Princess Belle.
For dessert Adam got an Oreo sundae and a special birthday song from the waiters. I love his face in this picture!

Before we left we took some pictures with the characters!
Adam thought the coolest thing about the night was getting to hold Indiana Jones' whip!

When we got home he got to open his presents. What a fun day with a fun, sweet, precious little boy!

Pasteries with Parents

The kids had Pastries with Parents at school this week. It was so cute! First we went to Sarah's class for a treat and a little gift. The moms got a cute picture frame.

Jake had to work so he didn't get to join us. But, this was his gift from Sarah (with some help from her crafty teacher!). Isn't this the cutest thing ever? It's a little hamburger & fries made from cookies, a muffin, a brownie and frosting. So cute!!
Then we went to Adam's class where he gave me a flower in a pot he made and a little questionnaire all about me! It was a fun morning! I love my little sweeties!

Cinco de Mayo!

We had a fun day today, not all Cinco de Mayo related! The kids & I went to the park this morning. They played in the sandbox there and we took a walk through the woods behind the park. When we came home we ate lunch and took a nap! Tonight we had a little Cinco de Mayo dinner tonight- chips, enchiladas, and beans. Jake had to work late tonight so my mom joined us for dinner! She and Sarah made brownies for dessert. At dinner we practiced our Spanish!

Zookeeper Adam

Have you ever seen such a cute little zookeeper?
This week they had Carreer Day at school. The kids had to dress up like what they want to be when they grow up. I had no idea how hard this would be for Adam! He hasn't decided yet what he wants to be when he grows up and it was really bothering him! He took his assignment very seriously! We talked about all different kinds of jobs that he might like to have. He really would like to be a super hero, he kept going back to that. I finally convinced him that most super heros have a day job too. I also had to convince him that is okay if he changes his mind later! He finally decided that the coolest job he had seen lately was the day we went to the zoo. He really liked the guy that got to go in and feed and pet the huge turtle. He decided that he MIGHT like to be a zookeeper when he grows up! So, we went with it! My friend Misty had made this costume for her daughter, so we were in luck! I think he would make a good little zookeeper but if he changes his mind, that's okay! :)

Mayfest!

Jacob & I both remember going to Mayfest when we were kids. We had so much fun taking our kids this weekend! They had a blast! Sarah loved all of the craft booths (Mommy's girl!) She really took her time on each project. She made a paper flower, a tambourine, a princess crown and sand art. She also got her face painted- a butterfly!
Adam loved this Batman jump house- that is really cool, isn't it?! His favorite thing was an obstacle course put on by a karate school. He got to do exercises, punch, kick & swing on a rope. He loved it!
They had so many free things for the kids to do. There was a giant sand hill with sand toys they could climb and play on. They had one area with pieces of wood, hammers and nails. They could make whatever they wanted. Jake & Adam made an airplane.
On our way out we got the hugest cookie ever! And Adam got a high-five from a monkey! What a fun day!
