Happy Easter!

We had a nice Easter today. Our church service was really good! The music was just beautiful. they showed scenes from "The Passion" which were heartbreaking, but still powerful reminder of the sacrifice that Jesus made for us, and then of course, the incredible way the story ends! After going to church, then helping out in Adam's class (which was so much fun!), we went to celebrate with family. We went to Jacob's cousin's house, then to my parents house. It was a busy day, but very nice. The only bad thing was Jacob had to work, so we didn't get to spend much time with him. Other than that, it was a really good day! Happy Easter!

Celebrating Easter

We went to several Easter celebrations this year. Grandma & Jenn took the boys to a community Easter festival one day while Sarah & I went to a baby shower. Adam had his picture with the Easter Bunny there. That worked out great, because Sarah is totally scared of the Easter Bunny, so she wouldn't have wanted a picture with him anyway!


We also had a fun time celebrating Easter at school. Each class had an egg hunt, the Easter bunny stopped by for a visit & the kids learned about the real reason we celebrate Easter!

We also went to an egg hunt with our playgroup friends. The house we went to had a great backyard for an egg hunt & it was a beautiful day for it too!

Well it wasn't the best little photo shoot we've ever had! I wasn't very optimistic when it started like this...


Thanks to their funny grandma & some bribery candy we got a few that turned out okay! :)

Daddy's girl

Sarah has learned to say "I love you" but she mostly says it to Jacob. When she does say it to me, she says "I love you. Dada" :) When she wakes up she cries for "da da". She loves her daddy!
