Saturday we had a lazy day at home, then headed out to the State Fair to see Third Day in concert. The fair was fun but extremley crowded. The concert was really good even though we were in the very back and really couldn't see the stage. The music was great though. It was neat to be out there with so many people singing worship songs, especially when they turned the music down & you just heard the crowd sing. So many voices just singing praises to God. It was awesome. I love outside worship music! Anyway, the kids had a great time. They sang and danced. It was fun watching them.
Today we had another lazy day at home. (slackers, huh?) :) Then our Home Group threw a baby shower for Sarah (and for another friend who is having a baby). It was so fun. The two dads played a relay game with a baby doll to see who could push the stroller, change the diaper, pack a diaper bag & push the stroller back. It was funny. Jacob "let Jason win." Sarah got lots of cute clothes. We had a great time just visiting with our friends. We are so thankful for them and for a great weekend!
