Our Weekend in Baton Rouge

We had a great time visiting with all of the family in Baton Rouge. It was so nice to see everyone and introduce little Sarah to the family. The kids were great in the car. Sarah slept almost the whole time in the car & Adam did great too. Saturday Grams, Aunt Julie, Jamie & Joey took us to Chuck E. Cheese. Adam had a blast playing all the games & Sarah loved all of the bright lights. Sunday was the baby shower for my cousin Heather. It was nice to see everyone there. We stayed at Mamaw & Papaw's house. Mamaw made us her famous white donuts for breakfast! And of course, red beans & rice and angel food cake for dessert. Adam stayed up way past his bedtime, got very wound up, and entertained everyone singing his Wiggles songs as loud as he could. It was pretty funny. We all had a good time. I didn't get any pictures though. My camera batteries died as soon as we got there. I had some extras but kept forgetting to put them in. It's nice to be home but being there, then leaving always makes me miss our family there! Hope you all had a good weekend too!
