Our Wonderful Christmas!

We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas this year. I hope all of you did too. We did miss the Baton Rouge group. It's always a little sad knowing that we are missing the big party there. But, we had a great time here and enjoyed our time with Jacob's side of the family. We started our celebrating on Friday night with Mom, Dad, Mikey, Jenn and Sam. It was so fun to see how excited the boys were with all of their gifts. Saturday Jacob and I had a kid-free day! We finished up our Christmas shopping and hung out with our friend Trish. The kids were spoiled spending the whole day with grandparents. Sunday we went to church and finished up some projects.

Becky, Kasey and Baylee came over on Christmas eve. We exchanged gifts with them, ate some appitizers and caught a little of the Christmas Story marathon on TV. When they left, Adam got a phone call from...SANTA! We had to hurry to get ready for bed so he could come bring presents. We read "The Night Before Christmas" and the story of the first Christmas, in the Bible. It took forever, but Adam finally fell asleep.

Adam was very excited when he saw all of the gifts that Santa brought. His favorite was a Spiderman Big Wheel. He had fun helping Sarah open her gifts too. We went to Becky's house for lunch with all of her family. We had a yummy lunch and played a fun game called Last Word. Then we went to Mike & Maria's to exchange gifts and visit with them. It was a busy day but it was great. We are so thankful for our wonderful families and a great Christmas together!
