1. First of all we've been thinking of and praying for our family in Louisiana this week. Everyone is safe, which is the main thing. The main damage we've heard was a big tree falling on my mom's brothers house. (thankfully no one was hurt). They are all without power and we weren't able to get through on anyone's cell phone today. We're still praying for everyone & hope the power gets fixed soon.
2. In other news, Jacob got a (much needed) new car. He's excited. It's a silver Honda Element. It's new and really nice. The mom side of me loves that the floorboards are made out of rubber instead of carpet (so easy to clean!). Although I have a feeling it will be a while before anyone gets to eat or drink anything in it!
3. Adam and Sammy went with my mom & her friends with grandkids, to see the play, Peter Pan. They had a great time. Adam has been playing like he's a pirate ever since. The pirate name he made up for himself is Sleaton. I have no idea where that's from!
4. We are getting so excited about our beach trip with my family! While everyone else is wrapping up their summer we are going to enjoy one more lazy week!
